A few images from our stay at the Tcherassi Hotel in Cartagena, Colombia. With just seven perfect rooms, the hotel was converted from a colonial mansion and the airy modern touches blend with antique details brilliantly. I am currently in withdrawal from this beautiful place and stellar, always smiling staff - you could not ask for a better retreat from the heat and activity of the city.

Please note that if you have a plant wall obsession, staying here will not help tame it one bit - if I could have packed theirs in my suitcase I would have in a heartbeat. Instead made do with all the mochilas and gorgeous handwoven goods (like the poncho I am wearing in the first photo) I could squeeze into our luggage. Can I go back now?

We Dream in Colour is looking for a design & production intern for the fall semester (and following that, winter/spring and summer too). Candidate will report directly to the company’s designer (that’s Jade) and assist with day-to-day production and a wide range of administrative responsibilities. This is a great opportunity to learn all the bits and pieces of the industry and perfect for a young designer aspiring to start their own company one day. Internship is unpaid, but a daily stipend and some great perks are included.

Fall interns are needed from September through December, preferably 2+ full days per week (with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week). .
